Before you look for a solution you must be sure that you are not using Google chrome for WordPress . If you are then try using some other browser and log in to the site, because google chrome is known to have some issues with wordpress….more information read here..

You should also make sure that your server is on, many times your hosting server and database servers are different and a possible case of you not being able to log into your site can be because your database server is not responding.


However is none of the above holds true you can try out manually resetting your password directly from the backend .
