Well! its perhaps the tough decision which most people would find which one to choose to gift or for yourself.There are quite a lot of options though my top 3 include

Amazon Kindle Barnes & Noble Inc’s Nook

Kindle DX

Sony’s The Daily Edition

Amazon kindle was the first to bring this new revolution and straight forward opening a new segment. It has a 9.7 inch display(Very good quality), a querty keyboard , average looks and costs around $489 way too much for a ebook reader.

Sony the Daily Edition isnt very impressive either it has a 7-inch touch-screen display and is smaller and cheaper than amazon kindle at $399.99. Looks nice just like a book not like an electronic gadget.

Barnes and Noble’s Nook is certainly my choice among the ebook reader category, it is a sleek gadget, with better looks in its category, costs around $259 and has a 7 inch screen display with a touch screen keyboard and search panel and control panel. More over it is Android powered device.Battery life is pretty awesome and best in its category.

It can certainly beat all the ebook readers in its category.

The next competition i am looking forward to is between Apple Tables and Nook.

It has been primarily designed focusing Cyber-Shot cameras and HD HandyCams ,though it would also work with PSP . The Sony Ericsson recently launched T715 ,which has a sophisticated slider handset that features turbo 3G connection. The handset is both sleek and slim. It offers a stylish metallic finish and large slide-out keypad.The T715 comes loaded with a 2.2-inch QVGA display, a 3.2 megapixel camera with Photo light. Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, Music player, Stereo FM radio with RDS. It has a phone memory up to 90MB with SanDisk microSD memory card storage. The T715 supports HSPA 2100 and GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and the T715a supports HSPA 850/1900/2100 and GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900.

The handset is 91.5×48×14.9 mm in size and weighs only 96.5 grams. It gives a Modem and the PictBridge printing facility too. It offers synchronization along with USB mass storage. It offers a talk and standby time of up to 10 hours and 400 hours respectively with GSM or GPRS and video call time up to 3 hours. The talktime and standby time with UMTS is up to 4 hours and 350 hours respectively.All this at an affordable/cheaper price than most other phones having similar features.
