The Samsung 14 inch 2.7 mm thick concept desktop with a resolution of 1366 x 768, (AMOLED)and a 1000000:1 contrast ratio, and 300cd/m2 brightness. The power and speed of the Desktop verses the class of Apple.
While one is an innovative PC other is a tablet bottom line both are sleek gadgets to have.

Samsung Digital Camera with inbuilt Phone

As the trend suggest people wanted a phone with a camera, then trends suggested people wanted touch screen and now the trends seem shifting again as people are showing increased focus towards cameras. Samsung has recently released SCH W880 which is supposed to be a mobile with a state of the art camera . The camera is 12 Megapixel with HD recording(at 30FPS) and a 3X optical zoom with Xenon flash . The phone has 3.3-inch AMOLED WGA screen,WIFI,GPS,Bluetooth along with microSD card slot, DMB etc. among its features. The Camera-phone price is undisclosed as of now.

This phone would definitely find its niche in the mobile phone market serving both the purposes.

Samsung Joins Android : Galaxy i7500 Review!

Samsung has migrated from Symbian to Android operating system for Mobile phones and would soon be launched Galaxy i7500 which would have Android installed in it.Galaxy i7500‘ will soon make its way to Bouygues Telecom, France’s third largest mobile carrier starting next week, on July 16. The handset will be sold for as low as €99 ($139) with a 2-year contract agreement.It has a 320×480 resolution on a 3.2 inche AMOLED screen.Galaxy i7500 boasts of a 5 Mega Pixel camera along with internal storage of 8 GB and supports Wifi,3G,GPS,7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity.However its screen is not multi-browser and can not read Flash.

There are some variations in the pricing however as Germany offers the Samsung i7500 Galaxy for €96.99 on contract which is approximately $98 and UK consumers can expect same price.

Samsung Launches 32 GB DDR3 RAM

Samsung has recently launched RAM’s with a capacity of 32 GB,though these RAM’s are intended towards servers and not for our desktops or laptops.These Memory Modules are new 1.35 volt 32GB module for servers which perform at a 20% better throughput compared to previous 1.5 volt modules and a lower power consumption .

The 32 GB Ram basically made up of 72 of those 4Gb memory chips, which are lined up in rows of nine quad-die packaged 16Gb DDR3s mounted on each side of the circuit board.Some believe this is a huge advancement in server technology, as with 32GB DIMMs, Intel’s Nehalem-EX platform will be able to have 512GB of DDR3 per *SOCKET* (16 DIMMS per socket * 32GB)! that is TWO TERABYTES of DDR3 on a four-socket server.So even a “low-end” 4-socket version of Nehalem-EX will have
- 32 cores
- 64 threads
- 96MB of L3 cache
- 2048 GB of DDR3 SDRAM running over 16 memory channels
- 16 Quickpath channels

The lower power consumption on each module could mean huge savings for servers.Though this would mean new technology for servers but our Home PC’s are still far away from the 32 GB rams which currently have 8GB DIMMs.

Samsung New SMX F34BN Camcorder

Samsung has recently launched SMX-F34BN camcorder weighing 59 lbs and a new image stabilizing technique the “hyper D.I.S” .The HDMI [High Definition Multimedia Interface] is still not present,which would definately be a drawback in comparison with other camcorders[Canon HV-30] presenting HDMI output but this might be overcome by the price tag which Samsung SMX F34BN bears.The looks are dazzling and the sample video shot from the SMX-F34 is a quality video with good contrast,a manual and auto zoom with a 34 x zoom feature makes Samsung SMX a handy and cool gadget .
