Once Again Palm Hacks iTunes: Apple Frustrated!

” I seriously question the strategy and brains of any company that ties critical product capabilities to the unsupported use of their competitor’s software. I mean, really? Can it get any more ridiculous? Can you possibly send a more mixed, less confidence-inspiring, “we’re a bunch of hacks who can’t provide our own sync software for our products” message to customers? ” as said by IPhone and Mac developer Craig Hunter .

Palm latest OS update 1.2.1 now enables Palm pre users to once again sync their phone with Apple iTunes.

Palm has done it once again and I think lets just admit Apple cannot Handle Palm . This is sheer frustration coming out from Apple employees. One must not forget that more Apple iPhones are currently running on hacks than the authentic ones.So if one is not able to secure the software this is what will happen, your competitor takes advantage of it. One may say that Palm is loosing credibility but after so many updates and efforts Apple has still not been able to do what it wants, so in a way one can also say it might just be the opposite (gaining credibility).Still the game is interesting.

The ball is once again in Apple’s court.

While on one hand iTunes 9 might have once again disabled media sync for Palm users but Apple’s differences with Google might just benefit Palm .Apple might have had some issues with Google Apps but Palm has added an app gDial Pro to its App store.gDial pro is a free third-party client that lets you call and text contacts using a Google Voice number instead of your cell-phone number . ..read more on Palm blog

Palm Pixi Hands on Video and Comparison with Pre

The latest news about Palm Pre is all around the web, the prices have dropped $50 and the new price is $149. Another news is the latest entry of Palm pixi in the smart phone segment . The Pixi lacks Wi-Fi though GPS and accelerometer is still present, with a 2 mega pixel camera 320×400 resolution and at 2.63 inches screen the pixi has ram and processer slightly lower than that of pre.

The Palm Pixi has a better touch sensibility than the pre ,its thinner than pre and iPhone 3GS. It is also Faster than Pre. The price is not yet disclosed but this smart phone would definitely be less than $150 mark..may be at $100.
