As far as these two pictures are concerned, N97 has a more attractive keypad, but N900 give you the Landscape mode as if it is made for that. Nokia and N900 written horizintally are the credits. N900 doesnt have the red and green keys thats a plus point as well.
I will mark N900 slighlty over N97 here.

N97 looks sexier with tilted screen and rounded edges.
However, the keyboard does not look promising.
I tried using it, umm~ Nokia should have prepared a better keyboard.
N900 is just looking awkwardly bulky.
Still, it seems to have a stronger construction of slider mechanism.
It’s like, in my imagination, if you drop your N97 AND N900 from the same height, the N900 is less likely to separate into two pieces.
The rear of the N900 looks nicer and more neat, here it wins.
The sides, oh no, N900 is just as fat as a PDA. Annoying.
Need a “wow” style? Probably N97. Need a classy look? N900.
hi,as we are comparing nokia n900 with nokia n97.as per me nokia n900 is best an more than best for me because n 900 got the slider where n97 have compass like which will get damage very soon when compare to slide,but the other thing is nokia n900 has got great features,great net speed,n many more great features compare to nokia n900
so as per my suggestion u must go with nokia n900

i think each mobile has its own style and are accepted by one who likes the either unique style
in n97 i like the brightness of colors and it n900 i like the style of icons and menus
n900 is look wise better than n97,and that is an maemo(linux) base base phone,gives better feature than n97.
n900 is best but n97 have too many apicatoin because i will sell my n900 and i will buy nokia n97 ****** for n 900
I don’t think looks is everything. If you are a frequent net surfer, and need a powerful processor, you would like the n900. But if looks is what you like, n97 is yours. I would like to wait a little for the new maemo device, its resistive screen should be changed.256mb ram needs to be increased. And we would like a little faster processor(maybe 1ghz) and probably an amoled or super amoled.
n97 is lot better in its look and overall specifications with the exception of virtual RAMonly….n97 always rocks
I am using n97 now. I think accordind to both price n 97 because both had same feature.n 900 it litle faaty in front of n 97.and n 97 is comfortable in handsbecause it slide show great look is goes is upper side.and n900 slide is so simple like samsung phones which price starts with 5000 only .so why waisting money for n 900.only take n 97 in white color
i have been using n97 for almost a year and i like to try n900 so ill give you my answer very soon. just for the record n97 is very cool phone.

i have n97 and is quite happy and satisfied with it.the pic here is of nokia n97 mini.the pluss points for ?97 r tat it looks like a small laptop wen u open it,so doesnt look so bigg like slide,it has tat square cursor on the qwerty keypad too,which is vwery useful,it has fone buttons on top,so very easy 2 use
will buying N900 soon god willing cuz i like face N900 have a ghost face :0 but N97 doesn’t…have a classic face
i have to say that the nokia n97 is better beause i had both of the phones and i like the nokia n97

Oh no the n97is spectacular the memory and like but n900 is good but I used the both and you cannot compare because n97 is better
i had used both n97 & n900 i think both phines are best but n900 has a very rare battery backup
N97 meets basic needs like easy fm radio, java and symbian aps and n900 is primarily made internet functionality and speed. N97 rocks!
