Lennovo T 400S the four finger touch laptop!

Lennovo will be launching T400S  Laptop which supports a four finger multitouch input by the end of september 2009. The Laptop supports some cool features like Simpletap which can be used to access hardware control via touchscreen interface. The laptop will be priced at $2000.

But do I  really need features like these for $2000 ?? Why wouldn’t I buy a Mac instead.
