Well, after the advent of ebook readers this was expected that someone introduces a flexible TFT pixel screen . The  epaper is 14.1 inch diagonal and 300 micrometers thick, best part is that you can turn pages like you do on normal paper and the images would remain crisp and text readable even if you bend it 180 degrees.

For the energy conscious folks there is a good news , not only would the epaper save the regular paper costs and save the trees but it  only consumes power when the image changes.

How ever no information is released on its launch date , speculations are that the product would be launched somewhere in the first half of 2010.

Well, this is highly debatable whether pico projectors are the next big thing in the cell phone market. One thing that I know is that they would be one of the coolest features which I would like my cell phone to have. The only disadvantage I see of a cell phone is that it is a gadget and cannot function as a full big screen television, but PICO Projector would solve this problem only if image quality can be increased . Televisions are bulky costly and whole lot of burden , on your pockets as well as its not a gadget. This is what reuters article says:

“While commercial products with so-called pico projectors are still relatively rare, Microvision and rivals such as Texas Instruments Inc and 3M Co were promising strong prospects for pico at the Las Vegas show which ends on Sunday.

Microvision showed off a stand-alone projector that looked like a big bar of soap and projected crisp video images using laser technology.

Its big hope is to embed the technology in a range of consumer electronics including cameras and phones.”

After high quality camera’s I think this should mark the trend.

giant wheel Google has recently added a new parameter to its search technology,Google Android users can now search by taking pictures from their android phone and searching them online on the search engine. Apperently Google Goggles which is still a beta version comprises of about a billion images in its database.

This is one very needed technology which should be brought to search engines on web as well.

Well! its perhaps the tough decision which most people would find which one to choose  to gift or for yourself.There are quite a lot of options though my top 3 include

Amazon Kindle Barnes & Noble Inc’s  Nook

Kindle DX

Kindle DX

Sony’s The Daily Edition nook wackao

Amazon kindle was the first to bring this new revolution and straight forward opening a new segment. It has a 9.7 inch display(Very good quality), a querty keyboard , average looks and costs around $489 way too much for a ebook reader.

Sony the Daily Edition isnt very impressive either it has a 7-inch touch-screen display and is smaller and cheaper than amazon kindle at $399.99. Looks nice just like a book not like an electronic gadget.

Barnes and Noble’s Nook is certainly my choice among the ebook reader category, it is a sleek gadget, with better  looks in its category, costs around $259 and has a 7 inch screen display with a touch screen keyboard and search panel and control panel. More over it is Android powered device.Battery life is pretty awesome and best in its category.

It can certainly beat all the ebook readers in its category.

The next competition i am looking forward to is between Apple Tables and Nook.

I just saw this amazing video and this is what i had always been imagining what virtual reality should be!

The Virtual Sphere would provide the exact 3D environment which one is able to see from his/her eyes, hows about some action games invented on this technology, wouldn’t that be amazing?
