Fastest browser : Mozilla,Chrome,IE8 or Opera?
Which is the fastest browser ? is it Mozilla? is it Chrome? is it IE8? or is it Opera?
Watch this video below, here all four browsers are running simultaneously on a PC with hardware acceleration turned on. However all browsers except Google Chrome , support Hardware acceleration .
This video by download squad shows a neat comparison among all the above browsers ( however there was a disadvantage for Chrome which is my favorite browser).
The result was a bit surprising where both Firefox and IE8 being the fastest.

i have tested chrome os both at home and at work, it does not seem to be better than ubuntu-;;

I use my browser for browsing pages not for simulations of fish swimming. Its not all about speed. You would do well to compare the different plugins and expandability of different browsers.
For example, tabmixplus is a very powerful and makes other browsers without advanced tab management tools look like little toys. I routinely have 200+ pages open at the same time, and manage very large sessions, again makes other browsers look like little toys.

I have a dial-up connection. so, i’ve tried all the browsers but found Opera better than others in slow connections..
I have tested IE, MF, op, and chrome together.

Fastest Browser is Google Chrome, closely followed by Mozilla,safari whereas Internet explorer and opera lie on the slower side.
i hope mozilla is a considerable one .. addon is there for make it fast or any thing you want,.,
Add-on do exist for Google chrome as well.

As my personal experienced i have used all browsers like mozilla,chrome,opera,safari,IE,avant,maxthon,lunascape,netscape,flock and also indian browser EPIC enhanced by firefox
but CHROME AND COMODO DRAGON is most fastest and easily operatable.

Chrome runs WebGL fastest.

My opinion. Used firefox from v1.0 – 8.0.
Got tired of speed.

Try multi tab browsing, fast, slow connections, low and enough memory configurations. ..Maybe for fishing there are other good browsers, but who cares about fishes..
mozilla firefox is the fastest among them because it is enhanced network traffic and have enhance internet connection..get it in mozill.org..

The speed of avant browser is very fast, too. People pay more attention to these browsers. Avant is more stable than chrome and his features are easier to use .chrome is fast but it always crash in my PC. Boring
i used internet explorer google chrome , opera, lunascape and many more but my choice is google chrome cause i using modem connection reliance 2g plane net chorme really the fastest of all about my choice . thanks
To all those blind guys who think Chrome is the "BEST" browser. O really? Why do you think so? Because you don’t have much time to use your brain and explore features? Because initially chrome is simpler than other browsers? Well, its disappointing how a human being doesn’t like to explore more and more into the unknown and make out the best.
To my opinion, always, Mozilla Firefox is the best browser ever made. Why? Initially its rather dull, than any other browsers. But, try to visit addons.mozilla.org, and try to master what you really want? Ask yourself. What do you want? That is a thing where most fails, they can’t find out results from Google search, neither can they try to be creative. Well Firefox if modded with a few bunch of best addons, will make it look just jaw-dropping! Trust me, you never saw how my Firefox looks like, including full aero-glass everywhere. Also the basic thing is Firefox is open-source, and its addons are expanding day by day to infinity. And also secure, programmable, and CUSTOMIZABLE to anything you would like to have.

The fastest is Firefox 10.0, I have tried most of the browsers and Firefox is the fastest compared to internet explorer 8, Google chrome opera,etc.It uploads videos, pictures and games way faster than others. It can hold many tabs and prevents Pop-up windows and also has lots of features, it holds history so we can remember which sites we went to{My internet speed is 512kb/s} so I think Firefox is the best though I don’t know what other people think. In my opinion Firefox rules
I agree that chrome definately needs some improvements. Sometimes it works ok and other times it’s slow and sluggish, crashes are consistent like no other browser and I’ve tried almost all of them. I like to multi task and chrome just doens’t cut it anymore. I’m trying a new browser named maxthon so we will see how it works compared to chrome and Firefox. Good Luck on finding a browser that will work great for you.
